Recently established in Silver Lake with a new bricks-and-mortar location, French label A.P.C. still plans to expand further beyond Los Angeles.

The urban, contemporary brand is known for its minimalist, Parisian appeal. The Silver Lake boutique, which boasts 1,793 square feet, marks the brand’s third West Coast. The newest location just opened last month on June 26. The ready-to-wear label is known for its high-end clothing with an emphasis on comfortable, effortless fashion.

In total the company has seven US locations. According to WWD, the French label is done with Los Angeles, but not California. “I believe three stores in Los Angeles is probably the maximum,” Jean Touitou, founder of A.P.C., told the publication. The other locations are on Melrose Place and Sunset Boulevard.

A.P.C. set to open San Francisco location next year

For fear of over-developing the brand, A.P.C. likes to be strategic when planning new locations in the US Although there will be no more locations in SoCal for the time being, the company has ideas for NorCal. According to WWD, the chic label will open a store in Jackson Square in San Francisco. The new location will open sometime next year. “We like to grow gradually, so we thought that California was a decent way to go,” Touitou told the publication.

The menswear and womenswear brand is headquartered, naturally, in Paris. The design studio and workshop for A.P.C. is also based in France. The label is known for its simple, monochromatic colors and modish aesthetic. The prices for A.P.C. range from 100 to 2,000 dollars. The company has 50 stores in the US and internationally currently.
