Los Angeles - Galia Lahav finally brought its couture bridal gowns to the U.S. The Israeli fashion house just opened its first Los Angeles flagship off of La Brea Avenue.
The bridal boutique opened on Thursday, January 28. The Galia Lahav Haute Couture shop opened in a two story 5,700 square foot space. The store’s interior decor reflects a calm, ethereal theme with muted blues and grays. The store offers Galia Lahav’s clothing include a ready-to-wear line. The couture gowns can range up in price up to 20,000 dollars. The Los Angeles shop serves as the brand’s first U.S. flagship. The brand is currently retailed at Neiman Marcus, Ivory Bridal, White Montreal, and other solo standing stores internationally.
The evening haute couture house was established in Tel Aviv, Israel. The current company size is 100 employees. Galia Lahav, eponymous designer of the fashion house, has over 30 years of experience in haute couture dresses. The Galia Lahav team processes their dresses in-house from the design and sewing process to marketing and communications. Although popular through international stores, up until this year the brand had not ventured into solo stores for the U.S. Expanding the brand into a Los Angeles location will allow Galia Lahav to have its own standalone U.S. flagship.
