Los Angeles - Denim and apparel brand Guess just announced its newest store opening. The SoCal retailer will be opening a flagship located in Moscow.

The store will be located at Europeisky Mall, which has over 500 other stores. The new flagship comes following a joint venture with a Russian partner. The new store will show off a contemporary, bright design that is reflective of the sophisticated Guess brand. The company told WWD that the store would have a “clean white setting, with bright high-tech lights, contrasting materials and glamorous [details].” The store will also include a layout that will show videos and images of Guess products. The overall space is meant to be a creative, dynamic retail experience for Guess shoppers. “The opening reflects Guess’ strategy of maintaining strong direct control over brand development in the Russian market,” the company said in a statement. The flagship will be one out of ten new stores to open this year.

The public company was founded in 1981 and is based currently in Los Angeles. The company size ranges from 1001-5000 employees. The retailer currently offers contemporary apparel, accessories, and handbags. The company operates approximately 484 locations at the moment.
