Los Angeles - Melrose Avenue will have to wait a little longer before its next, newest retail venture. Earlier this month, the tailored luxury brand confirmed that it would relocate in the month of October. However, that date has been delayed.

Replacing its previous flagship, the new space is set to open on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood’s Design District. The boutique will be a total of 3,000 square feet offering the brand’s Fall/Winter apparel and accessories. The design for the shop will reflect a modern feel with industrial roots. The contemporary label originally stated that its debut date would be on Thursday, October 1. However, according to Racked LA, the opening is not yet in process. The brand will host a sample sale later in the month, so the boutique will most likely open before the end of the month. The brand has not yet issued out a statement on its official Los Angeles opening. When the boutique does open its doors, Helmut Lang will offer its minimalist, chic styles that include denim bottoms, white blouses, vests, and more. Prices for the brand range on the elevated side up to 2,095 dollars.

The luxury, sophisticated brand was established in in 1986 by Austrian fashion designer Helmut Lang. The brand is geared towards attracting the design-minded, modern customer by providing simple, elevated pieces. Twenty years after the brand was founded, Helmut Lang was acquired by The Prada Group along with its trademark. Since then, the company has continued to expand in retail and fashion. The company currently has 201-500 employees. The New York-based brand is currently under creative design by Michael and Nicole Colovos who help to emphasize strong construction and attention to detail for its new Los Angeles shop.
