American lifestyle brand Cole Haan just announced a new flagship in SoCal. Debuting at Costa Mesa’s South Coast Plaza, the retailer will be opening a new concept store.

The store is influenced by the idea of a home concept including a full range of merchandise. The new boutique will include apparel, footwear, handbags, and accessories at the South Coast location. The high-profile shopping area marks the company’s first store on the West Coast with this design concept. “South Coast Plaza is the ideal place to showcase our innovative footwear and accessories as we expand our presence for our West Coast customers,” David Maddocks, chief marketing officer and general manager of business development said in a statement.

The store will have metal and glass as part of the the storefront to create a “natural elegance and warm interior” for the boutique. The store will also feature custom lighting and flexible millwork to show off Cole Haan’s merchandise. The boutique will consist of neutral color palettes and will also use marble mosaic patterns. The shopping experience will exemplify the aesthetic of a modern home with blends of traditional design as well. "As shopping continues to evolve, we're excited to be at the forefront of redefining the consumer experience,” said Jack Boys, Cole Haan chief executive officer.
