Since Rihanna’s Fenty announced a collaboration with Puma, many have patiently anticipated the fashion brand’s new collection. She debuted the original collection at New York Fashion Week last February, and since then has continue to move forward with Puma. The interior aesthetic of these pop-ups impressively imitate the brand itself. With a monochromatic theme, her apparel and shoes are shown off in a clean, stylish way with angular lines and fixtures. For the exclusive collection, the pieces are currently only available select pop-ups in New York City including Bergdorf Goodman and Foot Locker Fitness boutique SIX:02. The only other pop-up will be on the West Coast, which opened today in Los Angeles.

Rihanna’s apparel collaboration ranges in price from long sleeve graphic crew necks around 110 dollars to high platform sneaker boot wedges starting at 350 dollars. The collection also include pieces such as a Kimono Tricot track jacket for 300 dollars and lacing tights for 120 dollars. With cami bras and tearaway track pants, Fenty Puma by Rihanna certainly shows off variety in its clothing selection.

The first drop of Fenty Puma includes fashion retailers such as Bloomingdale’s internationally, which will be available starting this Thursday. Fenty’s style has always had a streetwear edge appeal to the brand with a bit of a dark twist. Pieces include large hoodies, minimalist pants, cropped shirts, and more. With a color palette of black, white, and gray; the Japanese-inspired apparel brand shows off a very avant-garde look.

Following Kanye West’s trend with his Life of Pablo pop-ups, it seems that Rihanna has caught on the importance of a retail presence in fashion. These Fenty Puma by Rihanna pop-ups are exclusive in that they are only open for 24 hours prior to the rest of the collection going public. The rest of the collaboration will be distributed internationally starting September 7. The collection is also available at puma.com. How the collection will fare for Rihanna remains to be seen, but as a fashion icon of her time, it seems that it’s safe to say the collaboration will be a success.
