Outdoor brand Canada Goose has opened a new store in New Jersey, its fourth in the United States. The new retail space features a cold room which allows customers to test the brand’s parkas in temperatures as low as -13 degrees Farenheit (-25 degrees Celsius).

Launched in Canada Goose’s Tokyo store last year, the cold room concept will soon be a feature in more Canada Goose shops around the world. The brand told WWD that its upcoming stores in Boston and Montréal, to be opened before the end of the year, are also set to include cold rooms.

The Canadian brand, which unveiled its largest manufacturing facility earlier this week, is not the first one to have this idea, however. In 2016, American clothing store chain Eddie Bauer also offered customers a human-sized ice box to better test winter wear.
