A vintage Volkswagen van used as a meeting room is only a small but telling detail of the meticulously designed VF Corporation International headquarters in Stabio, Switzerland. The company behind brands like The North Face, Vans and Timberland gave detailed thought and attention to sustainability while designing the office space. Locally sourced materials, energy-saving light sensors and solar panels are just a few innovative solutions adopted into the U.S. company’s 15,000-square-metre overseas hub.

They use 100% renewable energy, mostly from hydro and wind farms, with additional power generated by rooftop solar panels.
