Nordstrom has opened The Corner Market, a temporary gourmet food and hosting shop at its New York flagship on 57th Street and Broadway.

The shop is the latest concept to occupy The Corner, the store's dedicated corner shop space. It is open now and runs until October 10.

The Corner Market brings together pantry goods and hosting gifts from more than 50 brands, spanning a range of price points. According to Nordstrom, the edit mixes local New York labels with international names.

Local names and new arrivals

New York brands in the assortment include tableware retailer Fishs Eddy, Monte's Fine Foods and Jamagansett. Jacobsen Salt Co. and non-alcoholic aperitif brand Ghia are among the newcomers, while returning brands include BonBon, Sugarfina and Flamingo Estate.

Nordstrom's own Nordstrom Made line also features, alongside names such as Venchi, See's Candies and Rifle Paper.

Customers can fill their own gift boxes with products from the shop, choosing between wooden boxes and traditional gift-wrapped boxes, with prices starting at 20 dollars. Engraving is available on both box styles.
