Italian-based ready-to-wear label Genny is coming to Los Angeles. The company recently just opened a showroom in Los Angeles. However, Genny does not have any Los Angeles flagships open.

The idea to bring the brand to SoCal comes from Mathias Facchini, chief executive officer of Swinger International. Swinger International serves as the company in charge of Genny label. Currently, the company is “looking for a location on Rodeo Drive or in Melrose Avenue,” as reported by WWD. The store will be the brand’s first flagship in the U.S.

This new project is part of the brand’s newest contract with Jet Set Group. The label just signed a three-year licensing agreement with the company for distribution and production of their first eyewear brand. “This license is the key to increasing the brand’s awareness and visibility,” Facchini told WWD.

Although the brand is delving into eyewear, the ready-to-wear label still hopes to expand its business in the U.S. market. With the new showroom open, their Los Angeles flagship is the next plan in motion.
