Los Angeles - Jimmy Au’s for Men 5’8” and Under has moved retail flagships in order to open a larger store. The tailored and casual menswear shop recently just relocated to Sherman Oaks from Beverly Hills.
Moving to Sherman Oaks, the new boutique spans across 4,700 square feet, as reported by Apparel News. The space is larger than Jimmy Au’s former 3,200 square foot store at Brighton Way in Beverly Hills. The casual menswear and suit shop moved due to a change in leases. Jimmy Au’s previous lease was outbid by beauty salons, according to Apparel News. However, the new space located in Sherman Oaks is more spacious, which is a plus for the brand.
Jimmy Au’s for Men 5’8’’ and Under primarily gained a name for itself for selling upscale men’s suits for shorter men. The brand’s Beverly Hills store was designed specifically with shorter clientele in mind in order to provide a comfortable shopping experience. In the U.S., Jimmy Au’s currently carries the largest sportswear for short men. True to its name, the brand sells its menswear collection suited for men under 5’8’’ in height.
