Los Angeles - California-inspired apparel brand Johnny Was has recently made changes in its company. The Los Angeles-based label just opened a new retail front and also has been planning to open more stores in the U.S. Additionally, the label has been planning to expand its retail categories as part of a business strategy.

The retailer’s most recent store opened in Orlando, Florida at Disney Springs. The boutique bowed at 2,300 square feet and currently offers the brand’s bohemian chic apparel. The store retails ready-to-wear apparel, jewelry, and accessories. Johnny Was also opened stores recently in Palm Beach and Naples. The womenswear brand is also planning to open more stores in Miami, Century City, Dallas and Tampa, as reported by WWD. Currently, the brand’s top markets include California, Texas and Florida; so it’s fitting that the brand would target more store openings in those areas.

In addition to expanding its retail footprint, the retailer is also planning to introduce a new capsule collection. The new line will range from 88 to 158 dollars in price and will reflect Johnny Was's bohemian-styled apparel. The company is also planning to add more jewelry, handbags, and shoewear to its categories in order to appeal to a wider range of customers. The brand also has plans to create more categories and revamp their existing apparel, according to WWD.
