Los Angeles - Canadian apparel brand Kit and Ace just unveiled that it will open three new locations in Southern California.

The elevated basics brand will open locations in Venice, El Segundo, and Old Town Pasadena. According to Racked LA the two latter locations will debut this year on October 29 and November 12 respectively. The Canadian-based store will offer t-shirts, pants, sweaters, skirts, accessories, and more. Kit and Ace’s current style reflects high-quality as well as technical design. Their clothes are made of a proprietary blend made of viscose, cashmere and elastane. The idea of the brand’s clothing is to made apparel that is complimentary for an entire workday. The brand’s clothing ranges in price from 78 to 368 dollars.

Kit and Ace hosts downtown Los Angeles pop-up until January 2016

Currently, the brand has a pop-up open in downtown Los Angeles. Located on Factory Place, the pop-up studio is currently open Thursday through Saturday during set hours. The temporary space opened mid-summer as a way to integrate into the local community. The choice of location of the shop was due to the Art District's “character” and “entrepreneurial spirit.” “We are thrilled to be a part of a neighborhood filled with so many energetic, dynamic and creative people and businesses,” Mito Aviles, Shop Director, said in a statement. The pop-up currently retails their luxurious t-shirts, cashmeres, basics and more. The pop-up is open through their Arts District location until January 2016.

Kit and Ace gets approved despite obstacles in San Francisco

More up North, the brand recently had issues with its store opening in San Francisco. The company faced problems with the Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association for opening a new location in their shopping district. However, the permit for the new location was inevitably approved under the City Zoning Administrator. The permit was granted at a time that made the new location valid for the Canadian brand.

Founders of the Vancouver-based brand include JJ and Shannon Wilson. The company is known for their products that incorporate new systems and fabrics to consciously create innovative designs. The brand elevates luxury fabrics and encompasses a sophisticated, contemporary style. The price point for the brand averages around 130 dollars. The brand was established in 2014 and currently has 51-200 employees. The brand is currently in progress of expanding globally to Japan, Italy, China, and more.
