Los Angeles - After the downfall of Kitson, it’s a surprise that the former founder, Fraser Ross, would be returning to retail again anytime soon. However, he is set to return to Los Angeles with a new brand name: Kitross.

The store will be located off of Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles. The space will encompass over 5,000 square feet and will reflect a monochromatic color scheme. In starting a new store, Ross will be bringing in some old veterans from Kitson. According to Apparel News, he stated that he would hire former staffers. The new store, however, will focus on apparel and accessories for both menswear and womenswear. The flagship will also carry children’s clothing and gift items. The emphasis of the store will focus on pop culture, which is similar to Ross’s former business. “Pop culture is a very complicated business to run. You have to live and breathe it everyday,” he told the publication.

Kitson was first established in 2000 with one of its initial flagships. Over time, the pop culture fashion store became a popular stop for locals and celebrities. However in recent developments, the company decided to shutter all of its locations and close shop. Due to financial difficulties and other ongoing issues, the company eventually had to shut down. Although Kitson had its difficulties, whether or not Kitross will have more luck than Kitson still remains to be seen.
