Depart store chain Kohl’s has announced the launch of a new women’s private-label plus-size brand, EVRI, which stands for “Easy, Versatyle, Real and Inspiring”. Set to include sizes 0X-4X for tops and 14W-30W for bottoms, the new brand will hit the stores in the Spring of 2019.
“We’re proud to introduce EVRI apparel and enhance our women’s plus offerings to Kohl’s customers nationwide”, said Doug Howe, Kohl’s Chief Merchandising Officer, in a statement, adding that the decision to launch a new brand comes from a perceived opportunity to “better meet the needs of our customers”.
The debut collection is set to feature “comfortable and flattering” dresses, tops and bottoms “that can be worn from day to night”. According to the company, pieces will take both shape and height into account, with options ranging from short to tall, more curvy and less curvy.
Looking to consolidate its position as a go-to retailer for plus size apparel, Kohl’s also announced it will be offering products from Nike’s Plus range from Spring 2019.
