Kohl's launches 'Curated by Kohl's' to support emerging brands

Kohl's aims to connect more consumers with emerging brands. The American retailer has announced an upcoming selection of products called 'Curated by Kohl's' to its e-commerce site and over 50 physical stores to highlight work from emerging brands.

Curated by Kohl's will launch in mid-October, bringing a new assortment of brands across multiple product categories on an ongoing basis. Brands and products across apparel, accessories and home with be refreshed quarterly.

The first round of brands featured in Curated by Kohl's will include womenswear label Adore Me, size inclusive brand East Adeline by Dia & Co, childrenswear brand Kid Made Modern, lifestyle brand Lovepop and accessories label Luca + Danni.

Kohl's will partner with Facebook in 2020 to help discover new brands to feature in Curated by Kohl's. Facebook will help the retailer to identify and engage with brands that have fostered an online community.

“We’re incredibly excited to launch Curated by Kohl’s as a way to surprise and delight Kohl’s customers with a continuous stream of new, relevant merchandise, and as an avenue to bring new customers to Kohl’s,” Doug Howe, chief merchandising officer, said in a statement. “Furthermore, Curated by Kohl’s provides the opportunity for us to showcase innovation, connect with digital retailers, and team up differently with best-in-class digital platforms like Facebook.”
