Lacausa, Los Angeles-based brand, is opening its first bricks-and-mortar shop next month. On July 9 the shop will open its doors in Silver Lake.

The location is set on Sunset Boulevard next to menswear boutique Mohawk Man. The opening event will be hosted by Grenell and Unique USA’s Sonja Rasula, according to LA Racked. The new store will offer the brand’s bestsellers as well as a curated collection of items from local-based designers. Currently, some of the brands expected to be offered at the new shop include designs from Christy Dawn and jewelry from Mondo Mondo. Up until this point, Lacausa has offered its collections at various retailers such as Elyse Walker. Prices for the clothing range from 50 to 250 dollars in price.

The fashion label was founded by designer Rebecca Grenell. Grenell, originally from Malibu, launched Lacausa in 2013. Grenell was inspired by Los Angeles fashion and design as well as the environment’s aesthetic to influence her brand. The name is a combination of the abbreviations for Los Angeles, California, and the United States. Her collections have become notable for her blending design of refined basics and bohemian style. Lacausa has brought its tomboy reputation to Los Angeles due to her passion and inspiration driven from the city. The garments are made in the brand’s headquarters in downtown.
