Lane Bryant opens new location in Culver City

Lane Bryant, women’s apparel retailer, recently opened a new location at Westfield Culver City.

The women’s specialty retailer opens its newest location this week with a preview event on Thursday. On June 4, the brand will have a grand opening event where it will display its newest collection as well as have guest appearances. Bo Stanley, pro surfer and model, and celebrity stylist Art Conn will be at the event to meet and greet with the attendees. The idea for the grand opening is an attempt to bring exposure for the opening and attract shoppers to the new store.

Lane Bryant has been a subsidiary of Ascena since 2012. The company operates over 800 full-line and outlet stores in the United States. The brand sells merchandise targeted towards women offering various plus-size options. Lane Bryant is known for offering fashionable and casual wear-to-work outfits. The company also offers shoes and accessories. Lane Bryant was founded in 1904 and is based in Columbus, Ohio. The retailer houses over 10,000 employees currently.

The Ascena Retail Group also has been expansion in retail. The company announced the opening of a new Dressbarn store in Miami on May 26 in addition to the Lane Bryant location. The company is known as a national specialty retailer for women’s apparel as well.
