Los Angeles-based company LF Stores has announced that it will be closing down its physical stores, moving its retail entirely to digital platforms.

According to California Apparel News, the company made the announcement earlier in August, with plans to have all 26 of its retail stores closed by the end of Labor Day Weekend. However, LF’s e-commerce site will still be up and running for consumers to shop.

LF co-founder Steven Katz stated that the decision to close the brand’s brick-and-mortar stores came from the ever-evolving landscape of retail, with an increase in online sales from customers.

The Southern California brand first opened its stores in 2004, selling the brand’s casual contemporary clothes along with third-party brands. With most of its shops in the Southern California area, it also had stores in New York, and other New England locales.
