Linda's at Bergdorf Goodman makes a splash

Longtime Bergdorf Goodman fashion director and senior vice president Linda Fargo is one of the most respected figures in the fashion industry and a very recognizable face. She has steered Bergdorf Goodman through many changing times, and became more of a household name thanks to the documentary "Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's," documenting the history of the luxury department store.

Take a step away from the traditional big-box fare, Bergdorf Goodman has launched "Linda's at Bergdorf Goodman," a curated shop based on the personal style of Fargo. The shop display many of her fashion favorites from her closets at home. The selection is filled with exotic colors and vintage finds, along with many unique finds like Sacai Najavo-style blouses and crochet tops from Valentino.

“Bergdorf Goodman has always been my favorite closet, and now you can officially find my closet here," Fargo said on the Bergdorf Goodman blog.

In addition to apparel and accessories, the shop also features edibles, home decor, beauty products, books and art. The merchandise will change four times a year.

While Bergdorf's is synonymous with luxury, Fargo says that the items run from "couture to contemporary."

In addition to the slate of products she has curated, she is also developing a lipstick with Le Métier de Beauté and a proprietary fragrance with Kilian too.

While Fargo was hesitant to disclose whether or not this was the beginning of a Linda Fargo lifestyle brand, she did tell WWD "That would be my dream." Linda by Linda Fargo anyone?
