After weeks of anticipation, Mansur Gavriel finally debuted its Melrose flagship. Landing in West Hollywood, the label just opened its 5,000 square foot boutique.
The store has a 'Palm Springs' aesthetic complete with a soft peach shade as its exterior wall color. The boutique also has outdoor seating with white, modern furniture for its cafe as well as wooden fixtures for its interior. The store will retail its iconic bucket bag, ready-to-wear, and furniture, according to Apparel News. FashionUnited first reported that the store would open in Los Angeles due to the brand's founder, Rachel Mansur. Mansur believed that the space felt "very on brand" as she told WWD of the space previously.
The store opening marks the brand's move into retail. As its first Los Angeles store, the Italian-made label its expanding into a high-profile area by picking out Melrose. Founded in 2012, the designer brand has moved forward known for its modern, luxury items. Now that the ready-to-wear label has tapped one of the U.S.'s major markets, it'll be interesting to see where Mansur Gavriel strikes next.
