Marc Fisher has launched a new footwear brand, all with the help of the gorgeous Karlie Kloss at his side as a star for the campaign, and to help boost the new brand's social media presence. Fisher has introduced Marc Fisher LTD. Brand., a separate endeavor from his namesake line. The idea behind the aesthetic of the brand is "casual luxe."

Offerings from the new line include pumps, flats, and boots and will be carried at Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor. Fisher is going for a classy, easily wearable, and timeless look for the brand. “I don’t want to make shoes that you see next spring and say, ‘Why did I buy those things?’” Fisher said to WWD.

Fisher felt that the shoe market was going cheap and inexpensive, and he wanted to create something that was of top quality but still affordable. Price points for his collection range from 149 dollars to 329 dollars. It's at a higher price point from his namesake line which ranges from 69 dollars to 199 dollars.

In the day and age of social media, no brand has any real credibility without a hashtag, so, Fisher has introduced the #makeyourmarc hashtag as a platform to help empower real-life role models. Fisher will donate 1 dollar to Kloss's Kode with Karlie scholarship program to support young women who want to learn how to code. Additionally, Kloss has chosen three shoe styles — the Yale, the Netty, and Tammy — and for every pair purchased 20 dollars will go toward the scholarship program.

“There’s so much you can do with the ability to code. You don’t always realize how creative it can be — it’s like a language. It’s a superpower in its own way, because you can take it and build anything. I wanted to offer what I experienced to other girls….It’s been a really fun process to grow [Kode with Karlie] and continuing to think bigger. This hashtag campaign is going to help us reach more girls," Kloss said to WWD.
