Marie France van Damme to open pop-up store at Bergdorf Goodman

Hong Kong-based Canadian fashion designer, Marie France van Damme, has announced the opening of a pop-up store inside the New York luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman. The store will run from May 27 through June 30.

Visitors will be able to get their hands on Marie France van Damme’s Summer 2019 collection, which includes dresses, swimsuits, evening wear and silk caftans. “Our pieces have a wear-anywhere appeal from New York to Miami, Portofino to Dubai”, said the designer in a press release.

Van Damme launched her label in 2011, after years ahead of a manufacturing company based in Hong Kong making ready-to-wear items for European brands such as La Redoute, Monoprix, and Marks & Spencer. The company operates stores in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, London, Singapore, Bangkok, Morocco, Phuket, Dubai and, of course, Hong Kong. The brand is also sold by online marketplaces such as Moda Operandi and Net-a-Porter.
