Luxury fashion online retailer Moda Operandi just recently unveiled plans for expansion. Chief executive officer Deborah Nicodemus just announced that the company will be opening 15 more showrooms within the next five years.

The announcement comes after Moda Operandi opened a successful showroom in Manhattan. The opening was the online retailer’s first for the U.S., which spanned three levels and encompassed 3,200 square feet. The showroom acted as part of a strategic move for the company in order to allow its customers to spend over four times the amount they normally do in a bricks-and-mortar store. As the London showroom did very well, the company is planning to expand with more showrooms over time. “We achieved our fourth-quarter plan within the first month of the opening,” she told WWD.

Nicodemus confirmed with the publication that she will open at least three more locations in the U.S. after opening more showrooms internationally. Some of the cities that the company is seeking out for its showrooms include Hong Kong, Seoul, and Abu Dhabi. Although there are not set dates, these new concept spaces are set to open before 2021.
