Mother opens first-ever flagship in Beverly Hills

Mother has opened its first standalone flagship, marking the brand’s first physical address after 15 years.

The store, located at 351 N. Canon Drive in Beverly Hills and nicknamed “The Big Boy,” spans 3,850 square feet. Mother positions it as less a store than a place to wander, linger and see what happens, describing the space as part California living room, part glamorous clubhouse and part cabinet of curiosities, and intended to bring the brand’s irreverent spirit to life through fashion, culture and community.

Co-founder and creative director Tim Kaeding said the store was designed to make you feel “like you’ve stepped into the kind of house you would have wanted to hang out in during your childhood.”

A dramatic conversation pit sits at the centre of the flagship, designed as the social hub of the space and intended as somewhere to gather, connect and stay awhile. Adjacent to it, the Mother café serves coffee, matcha and tea loaves. The store also offers custom embroidery services and exclusive merchandise available only at the Beverly Hills location.

“We wanted a place where our community could come together, hang out and experience the brand beyond the product. We’ve always believed in creating spaces where people can connect with the brand and with each other in meaningful ways. Beverly Hills felt like the perfect place to make that happen,” said Becker.
