Mykita opens second US store

Los Angeles - Mykita, German eyewear brand, recently solidified expansion in the U.S. The eyewear label just announced its second flagship located in downtown Los Angeles.

The label offers optical lenses, sunglasses, and other eyewear. Pieces vary in style, material, and color ranging from a variety of choices through the brand’s e-commerce site. Landing off of Broadway, the newest boutique will the brand’s second stateside store. The 1,500 square-foot flagship will be located in downtown Los Angeles, near the city’s fashion district. The space was previously occupied by Angelo:Home, neighboring Acne Studios. Adding to its U.S. presence, the new store serves as the brand’s West Coast installation. Although a date is not yet confirmed, the brand has disclosed to DTLA Rising of the bricks-and-mortar location.

The brand is currently international with stores operating in both Paris and Tokyo. Mykita’s first store was opened in New York City. Establishing itself in the U.S., the company has decided to start with the country’s most prominent fashion-oriented cities. After opening its New York location, the Los Angeles retail store seems to be a natural next step for the brand.
