Nordstrom Rack opens two locations in SoCal

Los Angeles - Nordstrom’s beloved discount store is opening a new location later this week. On October 1 Nordstrom Rack will open two new off-price locations with grand openings.

The discount stores will both open in Southern California. One of the department store’s chain will open in Long Beach with a space that encompasses 24,000 square feet. Sitting in the Marina Pacifica shopping center, near Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, and the AMC theaters; the new Nordstrom Rack location will debut. The second location is further into Los Angeles in Thousand Oaks. This particular location will open a shop twice as big that encompasses 40,000 square feet in the Janss Marketplace. Both locations will offer Nordstrom Rack’s favorable brands including Helmut Lang, Nine West, Tahari, JAG Jeans, and more. The off-price retailer locations will over 30 to 70 percent off.

The Seattle-based company was founded in 1901 by John Nordstrom and Carl Wallin. Today, the company operates 204 stores in the United States and Canada. Nordstrom operates with over 67,000 employees currently. The company’s first Nordstrom was opened in San Diego in 1981. Currently, Nordstrom serves as a prominent department store in malls throughout the United States. The estimated revenue for Nordstrom is estimated at 13.506 billion dollars.
