Nordstrom to debut new concept at Century City

Nordstrom just joined Century City with a new concept store. The Seattle-based company recently announced its new location at Westfield from the Westside Pavilion.

The Century City mall currently is home to other department stores including Bloomingdale's, Macy's and more. The Nordstrom will be a new addition for the mall including a new rollout concept. The store will show off the company's "latest store design" according to WWD, elevating its normal department store interior. The mall itself is undergoing a one billion dollar reboot. The new location for Nordstrom will be included in this massive budget. "We just really got excited about [the mall's] commitment and what they’re doing to elevate what was already a great center and a great location," Erik Nordstrom, co-president of the company, told WWD.

The store will include a sneaker boutique section for Nordstrom x Nike. The space will also have various boutique spaces featuring designer lines such as J.W. Anderson, Simone Rocha, Comme des Garcons, and more.
