Novus opens first flagship in Florida

Shoe company Novus Inc. recently moved into expansion in the U.S. The company comes to the American market with a flagship landing in Florida at Pembroke Lakes Mall.

The Puerto Rican footwear brand has chosen this area due to its market in the area. "Novus is aware of the importance of the South Florida market and the large Puerto Rican population of more than 300,000 currently residing in the area that has a close identification with the brand,” Sandra Castellon, Grupo Novus marketing director said in a statement. The new flagship will also allow the brand to expand to certain cities and counties where they may achieve a greater following. “With this expansion into the U.S., we will now be able to offer Novus's excellence to the communities in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties."

The new store also bows with a new prototype. Designed by ADV Alvarez Diaz Villalon, the store reflects a modernist feel using current trends in design and decoration. The materials used for the store include metal, wood, and various shades of red to match the company’s colors. The store will also offer a pick-up option for its customers, so that they can shop online or on their phone and pick up the item at the boutique. This store currently serves as the brands solo U.S. flagship.
