OLYMP opens online shop for Italy

Clothing supplier Olymp Bezner KG (Olymp) is further expanding its international e-commerce presence. On Monday, the shirt specialist announced the opening of its own online shop for the Italian market.

Following previous openings in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and France, the company now possesses eight digital country shops. The new online presence in Italy is available in Italian, German and English and supports various payment methods, according to a statement. Shipping processing takes place via the company's own logistics centre at its headquarters in Bietigheim-Bissingen.

The “digital flagship store with its unique possibilities for brand and product presentation” will become the “central medium for brand communication in Italy” in the future, the clothing supplier stated.

Kai Graf, managing director for sales at Olymp, also explained further growth plans for the Italian market. “Fashion-conscious Italy is an exciting export market for us,” Graf said in a statement. “We already cover northern Italy from South Tyrol via the Aosta Valley to Liguria competently through our established retail partners. We want to further intensify this successful cooperation in the future and also expand our specialist retail distribution to other regions in central and southern Italy.”
