Activewear brand Outdoor Voices has to expand with two California locations in this year. The technical apparel label just opened the stores this past month located in two of the state's prime markets: Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Outdoor Voices has made a name for itself through its core fabrics and tonal palette. In targeting these two cities, it seems that the label is being strategic about its retail expansions. As both Los Angeles and San Francisco are known for their fitness, activewear and athleisure have emerged as growing trends in the past couple of years. The brand, established in 2013, currently has five store locations including cities such as SoHo, Austin, Aspen, and Dallas. The two new stores bring the fitness brand's total to seven in the U.S.

The label plans to continue to grow in the next year. According to Apparel News, the brand is set to open a couple more doors in 2018. With its stores, Outdoor Voices plans to operate clean, comfortable shopping spaces for activewear. “As a brand, we approach activity with a lighthearted ease and sense of humor, and our spaces reflect that," Ty Haney, founder of the label, told the publication, "we want our shops to feel inviting and inclusive."
