Los Angeles - Oceanfront shopping center Pacific City finally announced its debut date. The long-awaited shopping center was reported to be in development earlier this year and has been expected to open next month. The property just confirmed that its opening date will be November 7.

In honor of the grand opening, the shopping will have giveaways with live music and entertainment for guest shoppers. The retail center will be 191,000 square feet and will sit right next to the Huntington Beach Pier at Lot 579. The project was originally set to open in the summer but was confirmed in July to open this fall. The center will have over 50 apparel retailers and approximately 20 restaurants. The tenants that are confirmed for the shopping project include Tankfarm, Irene’s Story, Sephora, H&M, and more. Pacific City will also host interior and decor shops neighboring its luxury boutiques.

The public marketplace is a project led by DJM Capital Partners, which is headquartered in Santa Barbara. The SoCal-based company created the Pacific Project to bring in an ocean-side shopping haven to surrounding locals. The retail development project represents an asset value of 1 billion dollars. The private equity investment and development company represents a portfolio of assets over 2 million square feet.
