Performance brand Rhone leases new Stamford headquarters

US performance lifestyle brand Rhone has signed a lease for over 40,000 sq. ft. of office space at 300 Atlantic Street in Stamford, Connecticut, in a joint announcement with building owner RFR.

The activewear company plans to relocate to the new location next summer, taking over the top two floors of the 300,000-square-foot building. The property will serve as the company's primary corporate hub, accommodating a workforce of more than 150 employees to support its ongoing national expansion.

Founded in Fairfield County in 2014 by brothers Nate and Ben Checketts, the activewear label focuses on menswear, womenswear, and mental fitness initiatives. The new headquarters location provides consolidated office space as the brand continues scaling operations.

“RFR is an established operator, and their vision for 300 Atlantic resonated with us from our very first meeting,” said Rhone chief operating officer, Matthew Wallace. “The offerings at the building align with our brand's ethos and will allow us to provide an excellent environment and daily experience to support attracting and retaining top talent.”

RFR completes property upgrades

Building owner RFR is completing a comprehensive modernization of the property, adding over 10,000 square feet of amenity spaces. Improvements include a boutique café operated by Dartcor Hospitality, a new fitness center designed in partnership with Core Health & Fitness, a second-floor conference center accommodating up to 100 attendees, and updated outdoor seating areas.
