Designer Rachel Roy is revamping her business. In 2014, Roy put her collection's e-commerce site on hiatus. However, in the midst of her Beyonce and Jay-Z related controversy, Roy's e-commerce site quietly relaunched.

The new site is mobile responsive and provides direct-to-consumer services for her Curvy and Rachel Rachel Roy collections too. On the old site, customers were redirected to Macy's for purchasing. The site's "The Life" tab showcases video content with Roy, and her explaining upcoming content featuring guest contributors.

Roy began her fashion career as an intern for Rocawear. She eventually rose the prestigious position of creative director. She launched her label in 2004, and in 2007 she was invited to join the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Her line The RACHEL Rachel Roy launched at Macy's in 2009 became available exclusively at Macy's in the United States and The Bay in Canada. Her celebrity clientele list includes women the likes of Michelle Obama, Diane Sawyer, and Penelope Cruz.

The press she's receiving thanks to the gossip sites could potentially help her clothing sales, so it will be interesting to see how people react now that Roy has become a household name.
