Raquel Allegra opens new boutique

Los Angeles - California native Raquel Allegra has returned to her roots by opening a new retail shop. The designer just recently launched a soft opening for her newest boutique which bows new Beverly Grove.

The store was something that a plan in motion for a long-time coming. With an extensive background in both fashion and retail, Allegra harnessed her experience and put it towards this new venture. “It started feeling right a couple of years ago and [my friend and I] started talking about it,” she told WWD. As far as debuting her own personal shop, the timing just seemed right. “I only just two seasons ago started showing with New York Fashion Week, so I think that I was just finally ready to show myself and share the whole story,” she told the publication.

The new store will boast 1,300 square feet. Although it serves as the first flagship for her brand, Allegra plans on opening more stores eventually. However, at the moment, her main focus is on the store at hand. The boutique’s decor will be somewhat reflective of her own personal fashion style, varying from vintage pieces and art decor. “My jumping-off point has more of an art element than a fashion element,” she told WWD. The store will offer her specialty fashion pieces with hand-dyed fabrics as well as intricate jewelry pieces. The flagship just recently opened off of Third Street in Beverly Grove.
