Ray-Ban to open permanent flagship at The Grove in Los Angeles

Ray-Ban is set to open its first permanent store in Los Angeles. Luxottica Group SpA just announced that the new store opening set for this spring at The Grove shopping center.

The opening is set to be around April for the next season, according to WWD. Although a confirmed launch date hasn't been confirmed, it seems that the store's launch will coincide with Coachella season. In the past, Ray-Ban has held pop-ups at The Grove, as reported by FashionUnited. As the first permanent store, it seems the eyewear company is aiming to plan roots on the West Coast. The new boutique will occupy 646 square feet at the shopping plaza.

Ray-Ban's parent company Luxottica also houses iconic eyewear brands including Vogue Eyewear, Persol, Arnette, Oakley, and Oliver Peoples. The company's portfolio also includes elite brands such as Bulgar, Chanel, Coach, Giorgio Armani, Versace, and more. The Group's wholesale distribution covers over 150 countries with about 9,000 stores, according to their LinkedIn page.
