For the Fourth of July weekend, Revolve Clothing made a special appearance. The Los Angeles-based online brand popped up in the Hamptons for its first ever East Coast pop-up shop.

The pop-up opened July 3, Friday, at The Surf Lodge in Montauk. The boutique, located conveniently next to the beachside, allowed the temporary shop to host its Los Angeles-styled clothing every weekend. From July 3 to July 26, the pop-up will open to the public on weekends offering Revolve clothing. The brands includes For Love & Lemons, Lovers + Friends, NBD, Stone Cold Fox, and more. Much of these brands are popular in Los Angeles for their cult followings as well as laid-back Californian style. “We’re excited to open a new pop-up store in The Hamptons in order to engage our East Coast customers and allow them to fully immerse themselves with our brand,” said Michael Mente, co-founder and chief executive officer of the company.

The company has “popped up” previously in Los Angeles locations include the Grove in 2014. This is the e-tailer’s first physical store that has specifically opened for their East Coast market. “New York is one of our biggest markets, and we can’t wait to share the Revolve lifestyle experience with our existing and potential customers,” said Mente. The brand’s decision to go bi-coastal largely reflects on its current customer based. Mente told WWD, “This year, we've seen continued rapid growth in New York with year-on-year sales of over 60 percent.” The brand, although renown in Los Angeles, is only getting its footing on the East Coast.

To celebrate the brand’s pop-up this month, the company hosted a poolside party with host Emily Ratajkowski. The actress and model will also partake in the brand’s summer campaign. The event was on July 4 on Saturday and included celebrity guests such as Shay Mitchell and Sahara Ray. The pop-up will be open for the month of July in the Hamptons.

Recently, Revolve also launched a ten-piece collection with actress Nikki Reed. The collection included festival-styled clothing such as flared bottoms, bohemian tops, and simplistic dresses. "My festival style kind of goes with my lifestyle, so it's not one thing or the other," Reed told The Fashion Times at the Palm Springs launch party. The Coachella-inspired collection reflects Reed’s native Los Angeles-influenced personal style.

Revolve’s clothing ranges in price from approximately 49 to 1,320 dollars in price. The online retailer offers premium fashion clothing geared towards millennial customers. This includes slouchy knit-tops, contemporary slip dresses, chic tops, denim jeans, and more. Co-founders Michael Mente and Mike Karanikolas founded Revolve in Los Angeles in 2003. Since then, the company has offered a multitude of brands including Forward by Elyse Walker, Ale by Alessandra, Tularosa, and more. The brand currently offers men’s and women’s designer apparel, accessories, and shoes. Revolve’s style reflects on the modern millennial customer who dresses in a lax, chic SoCal style. The brand in headquartered in Cerritos and houses approximately over 200 employees.
