Los Angeles - Rick Owens finalized its first West Coast boutique with its newest Hollywood location. The high-end contemporary brand opened its doors officially recently on La Brea Ave.

The Parisian-influenced designer finally made its roots in Los Angeles with the newest opening. Originally reported on Racked LA, the store was supposed to open within the first two weeks of August. However, the store just recently opened (nearly 2 months later). The space boasts 5,200 square feet and is located at the former Twenties ribbon factory. The space creates an industrial aesthetic with high ceilings and massive space. The boutique also houses a “fog wall” that is similar to its locations in New York and Seoul. The store will offer the brand’s apparel consisting of monochromatic colors and edgy, luxurious designs. Rick Owens’ menswear and womenswear ranges in price from approximately 260 to 5,600 dollars.

Rick (Richard) Owens is known as a designer for his sophisticated, effortless cool ready-to-wear lins. He attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College in pattern cutting. Owens then created his label in 2001. He pursued his career further by moving from Los Angeles to Paris. At the moment, the brand retails on Net-A-Porter online as well as at its flagship locations.
