Menswear label Ron Dorff, known for its contemporary wear, is diving into U.S. expansion. Although currently focused on Europe locations in the new future, the company has confirmed plans to grow in the U.S.

The loungewear and sportswear brand is planning its expansion through necessary, big steps. First, the company is opening a shop in London this April. The store will be off of Earlham Street and will offer the brand’s latest spring collection including sportswear, swimwear, and intimates. After opening a store in Paris, the brand decided to first expand its retail footprint in the U.K. Now that the retailer will be building its brand more in Europe, the U.S. will be the next natural step. According to WWD, the brand reported that opening U.K. stores are the “stepping stone[s] towards the States.”

However, the stores for the U.S. aren’t coming anytime in the near future. The stores are slated to appear in 2018 and 2019. The reason Ron Dorff isn’t pursuing U.S. locations now are due to a need to have the proper time and effort to devote to the project. “We’re not pushing the States at all right now because we want to do it properly,” Claus Lindorff, co-founder of the brand, told WWD. When the flagships do open however, locations that the brand is eyeing include New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. On top of the retail locations, the company will also focus on an e-commerce site for the U.S.
