Ross Stores Inc opens 30 new locations across the US

Ross Stores Inc.’s expansion plans are going full steam ahead. The company has opened 22 Ross Dress for Less stores and eight DD’s Discounts stores across 12 different states and Washington, DC, in June and July alone. In total, Ross Stores Inc. plans to open 100 new stores in 2018 -- 75 of them carrying the brand Ross Dress for Less, and 25 DD’s Discounts locations.

”Ross grew in its newer market -- the Midwest -- as well as existing markets, including California, Texas, and Florida. In June, DD’s also expanded into its newest state of Delaware’, said Jim Fassio, President and Chief Development Officer at Ross Stores Inc, in a statement.

Over the past 30 years, Ross Stores Inc. has grown from a six-store chain into a 14.1 billion dollar company, operating 1680 off-price apparel and home fashion stores in the United States.
