Secondhand shop Round Two has announced they will be opening a store in New York City. The opening is scheduled for summer 2017.

The original store was founded in Richmond, Virginia in 2013 by Chris Russow, Luke Fracher and Sean Wotherspoon. Wotherspoon is best known as the winner of the recent Nike Air Max Day Vote Forward Competition.

Their retail concept caters to vintage clothing fans as well as those looking to cop the rarest of sneakers, ranging from old school styles to brand new releases. In addition to their Richmond location, they also have a Los Angeles location that has proven to be very popular. Their customers include those looking for both retro brand tees and Ralph Lauren sneakers that have gone out of production. Some of their vintage Polo jackets have been known to fetch up to 2500 dollars.

Their clients come from all over the world to their locations because they might have heard about them on the internet and were in Richmond or Los Angeles, so they had to take the opportunity to finally get their hands on Round Two's merchandise. Celebrities, like DJ Khaled, are known to shop at Round Two.

New York, a fashion capital and frequent tourist destination, is expected to have the same pull.

“We’ve provided a cultural hub where all different people can intersect in a shopping environment,” Round Two’s creative marketing director Justin Esposito said to Hypebeast.
