Los Angeles - Satine just confirmed its closing yet another Los Angeles location. It seems that the womenswear boutique’s location on West Third Street is set to close soon.

The boutique opened about 13 years ago as a women’s specialty clothing store. As reported by Apparel News, the store recently posted “Going Out of Business” signs that seem to confirm that the store will be shuttering soon. The brand originally told Racked LA that it would be closing its store earlier in July, however it has remained opened so far. Recently, with the new posters, it seems that Satine’s days of staying open are numbered. There’s no disclosed reason yet on why the store will close, but we have reached out to Satine’s owner for a comment.

Satine grew popular in Los Angeles as a staple for celebrities, stylists, and other local shoppers. The boutique was founded in 2003 by Jeannie Lee in the West Hollywood District of Los Angeles. With a background in accessories buying at Henri Bendel and an education in fashion marketing and merchandising at Polimoda Institute of Fashion in Florence, Lee was able to open the store up successfully as a business. During its duration, the store worked with more than 50 designers per season, mixing between luxury and independent designers. Although its Los Angeles location will close, Satine is still open on Abbot Kinney Boulevard for the time being.
