Schutz to open new store in Beverly Hills

Los Angeles -Luxury shoe brand Schutz recently just unveiled plans to open a new boutique in Los Angeles. The brand’s newest flagship will takeover Jil Sander Navy’s old space and will serve as its second operating U.S. store.

The new store is set to open April 19 off of Beverly Drive. The reason for the store opening is due the brand’s desire to expand its U.S. retail presence. Alexandre Birman, designer of the brand, feels that the store’s location is a perfect match for the company. “We are very confident the acceptance rate of our brand is much higher with the California girl,” he told WWD. Also because the brand was aiming for a celebrity clientele, Beverly Hills was a natural choice. The new store will encompass 2,800 square feet. The inside interior will be all white for a simple, modern aesthetic.

The Brazilian brand recently also just held a pop-up at the Grove as well. After testing the waters with the Los Angeles pop-up, it’s fitting that Schutz opted for a more permanent move. The company, which was founded in 1995, currently is based in Campo Bom. With the Los Angeles flagship serving as its second U.S. store, the brand also operates stores in 49 other countries.
