Seafolly opens 2nd location in America

Australian-based brand, opened its second store in the United States this past weekend. On May 30, the swimwear brand opened a bricks-and-mortar location in La Jolla at their Westfield retail center.

The store opening follows Seafolly’s partnership with L Capital Asia, according to Apparel News. The private-equity fund states to the publication that it took helped with investing for Seafolly. “Our partnership with L Capital cements plans for international expansion and the development of Seafolly into a full lifestyle brand,” Anthony Halas, chief executive officer of the brand, said in a statement.

The brand, established since 1975, is known for its beach-centric lifestyle swimwear. The new store opening will offer Seafolly’s swimwear styles including bathing suit one-pieces, two-pieces, clothing, and more. The swimsuits are available in a myriad of colors and in modern, edgy styles. The Australian label offers simplistic, solid color suits as well as tropical, vibrant pieces. The swimsuits range in price averaging about 70 dollars for bottoms and nearing 100 dollars for top pieces. Seafolly also offers apparel available for juniors and kids.

The new store opening will be Seafolly’s second American store. The brand’s first store opening was two years ago at Fashion Island located in Newport Beach. Currently the company mostly has concept stores based in various parts of Australia. Altogether Seafolly operates in approximately 10 concept stores.

Seafolly
