Los Angeles - Custom menswear line Sene is planting roots in Los Angeles. The custom men’s apparel and suiting line just opened a new spot this Wednesday on March 23.

It seems the new flagship emerging on La Brea Avenue may serve as an experimental venue for the brand. Seeing how the brand fares in L.A. may determine how Sene continues in retail in the future. According to WWD, the store is being called a “prototype” for future brick-and-mortar stores. Also, the men’s label decided to move into retail territory in the West Coast due to its emergence in the fashion industry. “We feel like this is a really interesting time in Los Angeles where a lot of fashion is moving over here,” founder and chief executive officer of the company Ray Li told WWD. “People have been talking about L.A. as the second fashion capital. We want to be here.”

With no stock, Sene offers essentials for men that are made to order. With a collection of modern and functional apparel, the sustainable clothing line ranges from formal wear to everyday wear. Currently, the bespoke men’s suiting options currently has a showroom also in New York. The flagship store in Los Angeles will double as a studio for the brand, where private appointments can be booked.
