Five and Diamond, fashion house based in San Francisco’s Mission District, is opening a new boutique in Los Angeles. This Saturday, August 1, the rebel-influenced apparel brand will join other stylish boutiques on Melrose Avenue.

Currently, the brand has one other flagship store open in San Francisco. The Los Angeles opening will be the brand’s debut into the fashion-forward city. The new store will open this Saturday with an opening celebration party. Starting at 7 p.m., the fashion brand will house a Headgear Art Show for its new customers. The free event will also featured a display of the models getting their makeup done behind the scenes from Cinema Makeup School. In total, the Headgear show will showcase 30 headpieces. The official store will open to shoppers on August 3.

Five and Diamond is known for its eclectic collection of punk-inspired items. The apparel brand offers a variety of basic clothing along with unique pieces such as vests, tanks, pants, long-sleeves, and onesies. All of the brand’s clothing emphasize a grunge style and most of the pieces follow a black and grey color palette. The fashion house first established itself in 2007. Based in San Francisco, the company offers various in-house lines such as Steam Trunk, Shawna Hofmann, and their Five and Diamond label. Their garments are tailor-made from Indonesia.
