Shinola just confirmed that it will be opening two new locations this year. Both of these store openings will take place in the Bay Area of California. The first store is set to open December 18, according to WWD.

The store will be 1,700 square feet and will be located in downtown Palo Alto. Shinola’s second store is set to open in San Francisco the following year. The 3,200 square-foot store, which will almost be double in size, will officially open in February in Jackson Square. In addition to offering Shinola’s luxury goods, the store will also host a rotating pop-up with various designers from the U.S.

Shinola’s mission is to bring luxury goods that last, including American jobs. In doing so, the company hopes to bring in opportunities to help the American market. With opening new stores in the U.S., specifically the two upcoming San Francisco-based locations, the company seems to be incorporating new American jobs into their company’s DNA.
