Ssense launches kidswear category

Luxury streetwear e-tailer Ssense has launched kidswear. The e-commerce platform has launched the category as part of its Ssense Kids initiative. The new products include gender-neutral clothing, accessories, and footwear for children with sizes ranging from 0-3 months to 14 years old.

Ssense kids has officially launched toady with 15 brands including exclusive collaborations with Collina Strada and 1017 Alyx 9SM. Ssense is hoping to expand its product offerings with a goal of having up to 80 brands in their kidswear category. The buyers at Ssense are already eyeing adding Balenciaga, Gucci, and Rick Owens to the offerings.

The luxury childrenswear market is seeing growth, with some even expecting it grow faster than its adult counterpart. A report by Euromonitor found that the overall global children swear market was worth 1.4 billion dollars in 2017, with up to eight percent growth expected by the end of this year. Adults aren’t the only ones rocking stylish high fashion anymore.
