Stevie Boi opens boutique on Eighth Avenue

Designer Stevie Boi has made a name of himself with his off-the-wall aesthetic and his designs he's created for pop star Lady Gaga.
Now, the designer has decided to take his talents to 188 Eighth Avenue with a new boutique that opened this past weekend on Saturday May 14. The event was celebrated with a store opening party involving champagne, colleagues he has worked and connected with in the past, and even some of his past season's merchandise at 40 percent off.
According to Boi, he has two hopes for his new boutique "to bring people in to have a conversation about fashion," and "to get people to shop." While he did have some of his apparel merchandise on sale, including looks from his most recent runway show at New York Fashion Week in February, this new boutique primarily focuses on what he became famous for: his shades. A pair of his shades can range in price anywhere from 85 dollars to 400 dollars.
The main focus of the boutique is a wall offering a variety of his shades, including his luxurious styles created with Swarovski crystals. Despite the growing attention for his ready-to-wear and racks of clothes selling out at his store opening, Boi intends to keep the boutique focused on the eyewear.
He is excited to officially have a boutique among the New York fashion scene which he describes as "sporadic, fun, out there, and growing."
