Los Angeles - Amsterdam-based suit company Suitsupply confirmed that it will be expanding to the U.S. this year.
The apparel company is typically known for its sophisticated suits and jackets for men. In addition, the Amsterdam-based label offers jackets, trousers, shirts, ties, and more. Recently, the company disclosed to WWD that it will be opening new locations based in the U.S. The brand recently partnered with Bloomingdale’s in New York for a shop-in-shop experience. According to the publication, the partnership is going well. The brand also plans to open additional stores in Los Angeles and San Francisco, along with a new opening in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The company was founded in 2000 by current chief executive officer Fokke de Jong. Although known for its elevated apparel style, the brand has recently implemented casualwear for a more relaxed, everyday look. Starting October 12, the company also offers hoodies, sweatpants, sweatshirts, boxer briefs, and more from the collection. The prices for the collection range from 49 to 229 dollars. The new line will be merchandised in stores along with the brand’s regular suited apparel. Currently, the company has locations based in the U.S., China, Germany, the U.K., and more.
